My rescued pit mix is by far the most affectionate and loving dog I have ever owned! She was in the cage to be taken to where they euthanize them and we made eye contact. She has been in charge ever since and I cannot imagine not having her around...

We are having wind at 35-40 mph last two days and she is terrified with the trees blowing, etc. My spouse never had pets so my dog is not allowed in the house. I really feel sorry for her when it is like this!

@ultrajko I have a dog too who is terrified of rain and storms. Fortunately my spouse is not as heartless as yours. My heart breaks for both you and your dog. You know what it's your house too I say if you want to bring the dog in you should. I'm starting to dislike your wife intensely and I've never met her. Who would insist on shunning a sweet animal in distress? That's don't take me there.

Wish I could talk the pit haters into meeting her! Their biggest risk would be drowning in dog kisses:-) She has never met a human she doesn't want to know better--she likes dogs OK but likes their owners even more when we are on our walks.
