When we lost our big girl Daisy in November 2018, we weren’t sure about getting another dog....but we saw Callie online and my wife told me to put in an application. Callie was already 2 1/2 years old when we got her, but she has shown a remarkable similarity to Daisy in her personality. Wish you the best with Mavis Rose....I know that you don’t “replace” a pet, but get another to stir the love that’s lying dormant after the death of the prior pet.
@sarabear87 I have a soft spot for animals, and I grew up with dogs in the family (and we got our first dog shortly after we bought our house....32 years ago).
(We got Gigi as a baby when Daisy was 10, now she’s our older dog)
