So sorry to hear about Mr. Twinkie. Never easy to lose a beloved pet no matter the circumstances. Our pets are most definitely family members. Years ago I had a Golden Retriever that developed tumors in her lymph nodes located in her neck. It was a very similar experience to what you described. Mr. Twinkie looks a little like my cat, Tibby. Tibby is short for Thibadeaux. His brother's name was Boudreaux and I called him Boo. Unfortunately Boo disappeared about 2 months after adopting them.

just read your story. I know how you was feeling . Around the same time we had our cat put down. His name was Anthony he was 22 years old. very sad day.

Our old cat died 2 years ago. I was devastated for weeks. She was like my shadow and I missed her like crazy! Still do sometimes, even now, even though we've got 2 new cats.
