It is sad to think about. I lost my cat Tigger on Martin Luther King day this year.

@KandiGhostcat oh wow. I lost my other dog on MLK 4 years ago. I'm so sorry.

@abooklover Yeah. I saw Tigger in my dreams quite a few times after his death. Don't see him much anymore, so not sure if it's just cause he hasn't visited again or if he's done saying goodbye to me. But he was a 16 year old cat. He would've been gone the day after if we didn't take him to the vet that day to relieve his pain and then put him to sleep. He was blind but he could still hear I think.

@KandiGhostcat I know they are with us always. In spirit even if we can't feel them.

That's a wound that heals so slowly. A great dog means as much as anything. To your golden baby I'll say a prayer over the rainbow bridge. I lost my Ugly dog September 2015....I still accidentally call Roxy ugly often

Shame that the best lives are the shortest....but I'm sure it was the best because of you. You were lucky to have each other... now... only remember her with the smile she deserves

I feel you. I lost my cat 3 years ago and my dog 3 months ago

@Smikezz2 Lost 2 dogs. One after the golden. Such a difficult experience.

I have lost pets, but I believe they still are here, albeit imperceptibly.

@uncalled4 in my heart, they will live externally. Thank you for the beautiful sentiment.
