I completely agree with what enlightened Americans are doing to get Justice for the horrors of September 11th 2001. I don't and never bought the argument about reciprocity against the United States or the US Citizenry with respect to the JASTA 9/11 Bill passed in 2016....
There should never have been Sovereign Immunity for ANY Country. If we're abiding by something called the US Constitution and International Law, We shouldn't need Sovereign Immunity or have any use for Sovereign Immunity. If it even did bring about retribution from other countries to the United States for the Crimes against Humanity, Crimes Against the Peace, Torture, War Crimes the United States Government has facilitated and enabled, then SO BE IT. What Sovereign Immunity does the United States deserve when the United States started that Vietnam-style War in Iraq, invaded the Graveyard of Empires known as Afghanistan, the catastrophe in Syria, then brought about the havoc and chaos in Libya. Wars for Oil, Wars of Aggression, and Wars of Attrition to force so called American Democracy on these Sovereign Countries (who didn't ask) to steal and plunder their Natural Resources?! Really?!
Other Sovereign Countries have every right in the world to take retribution against the United States for the trails of blood we've left behind.
We as the American Public, Taxpayers, and Consumers could've stopped all of the Military Boondoggles and demanded the US Government follow our Constitution and International Law so the 9/11 Families and the American Voters wouldn’t be where we find ourselves today. The American Public, Taxpayers, and Consumers knew exactly what the consequences were for these Illegal, Immoral, Criminal, Unconstitutional Wars for Oil and Resource Wars, yet few were willing to condemned this nonsense and ignored their conscience. American Voters blindly went along to get along. Others were promised things that they were never going to get for the path of least resistance. The Corporate Supremacy knowingly entangled the US Citizenry in these atrocities. It was desperately justified in the name of American Democracy, War Profiteering, and Controlling Natural Resources. We shouldn't have had our asses in those Sovereign countries in the first place; Iraq, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, or ANYWHERE ELSE especially when we were warned and compelled against it. No one wanted to question anything nor asked any hard questions of the Oligarchy who wanted to pursue this nonsense to begin with.
The United States Government goes around the World Community doing dumb stuff in other Sovereign Countries, then we're shocked and appalled that that Others want to retaliate against us! Ya Think?!
The 9/11 Families wouldn't be where they are today had it not been for the Stupidity Squared of the Global War on Terrorism, Bombing Campaigns with Sanctions on Iraq, our Military Base on the holy land of Medina and Mecca, our slavishly blind support for Israel. The 9/11 Families and Survivors have every right to somehow to be made whole, and completely hold the Saudis (Royalty or Government) accountable, our inept US Government, Government Officials accountable for their gross negligence and utter incompetence to protect our Country, especially with our Billion Dollar Air Defense System that failed 4 times that day. The United States should've minded its own damn business in the first place starting in 1953 and forward, we'd never would've have had anything to be concerned or fearful about to begin with. The Crimes of the US Government, those Chickens are coming home to roost and will not go unpunished especially now with the Global South and the BRICS Countries getting their affairs in order. We're in a Multi Polar World, the Petrodollar Recycling System is done with, and the United States is no longer the Global Hegemon with the World's Reserve Currency!

The stated reasons were US support for Israel and the presence of US troops in Saudi Arabia. However, we are no more obligated to change our foreign policy to please a bunch of religious fanatics than al Qaeda was obligated to change theirs to meet with our approval, although since their agenda was ultimately self-destructive, it might have been a good idea. It's not like the 9/11 attack was a success for them.
