Why do immigrants come to the US? | USAFacts

People are drawn to the United States for better economic opportunities, education, family reunification, personal safety, and the promise of a higher standard of living.
Economic Opportunities
One of the primary reasons people immigrate to the U.S. is for work. In 2021, about 42% of legal immigrants came for employment opportunities, attracted by higher wages, more job availability, and the potential for financial stability. The U.S. labor market also offers opportunities for entrepreneurship, and immigrants are often more likely to start businesses than native-born citizens.

@DogMan no one invited them to come illegally. Millions already work here and pay taxes unlike the billionaires
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Kypro Is that why they took down the fence and allowed 10 million+ in? I guess CNN didn't show
you the endless lines of people crossing 3,000 miles of border.

Remember, no one is illegal on stolen land. 🤣

@DogMan no one took down the fence but it is a waste of billions. Like giving out money to rich people

Sure people naturally are drawn to somewhere better than where they are. US still ranks lower than it used to compared to other countries.

You complained about immigrants. Why?

@Kypro Who is blaming homeless people for anything? You are right, it was the governments' fault.

They were hoping the illegals would stay in the red border states.

The problem came to light when
the illegals were bussed to the sanctuary cities that said they were welcome.

Have you seen any of the videos of people going to Democrat homes and asking them
if they supported illegal immigrants? When they said "yes, I do" the person asking gets
on the radio and people get off a bus to go to the home of the people that SAY they want
to help.

100% of the people that say they want to help, slam the door in the faces of those they
say they want to help. 🤣 What is that called again? It starts with a capital H

@DogMan you’re blaming immigrants for your problems which are created by billionaires
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Kypro Where did I blame immigrants for my problems? First of all, I have no problems.

Other than my company having more work than we can handle, and I want to retire.
