@carpediem But he held the justice system tightly and people were frightened of what might happen to them if they went against him, Even in the last days of the WWII men were hanged for the plot to assassinate him. As we know, the law can be changed by autocratic leaders.

indictments. And he would probably change misdemeanors to felonies, just to hurt the opposition.
I imagine he would also make up lies, and since he basically owned the media, he could say whatever he wanted, and
would say that if HIS media didn't say it, it didn't happen. All he needs is another 10% of the media and he would have
zero opposition.

@dpoet Yes, I have seen Antifa and other rioters in the streets in quite a few cities. Smashing cars, starting fires,
and making other people miserable. Not sure what they are trying to do. I guess they do not want laws enforced.
