It's a war of attrition. The ugliest kind. No one really wins this. Russia must at this point be hoping it can grind out a victory in Ukraine based on sheer numbers, and that could take a while. We'll see in the meantime if America slides into fascist dictatorship or recovers its senses, if only temporarily.
