@JSul3 I’m not racist. He is.

It kills me that we're having this much discussion over the issue.

In what world could Tariffs not have a short term negative impact on almost all manufacturing and the economy?

And Trump's not a young man even if he wasn't term limited by law.

If we're talking long term support for Trump's hand picked domestic manufacturers and trading partners, will the next guy keep it going, or maybe he or she will pick his own special friends to reward with exemptions and lower rates?

This whole thing is classic Trump business style, in terms of making money for him now at the expense of everyone else, including the stakeholders down the road, but how is it sustainable?

I dont know.
We have a lot of construction projects going up right now and a wave of cities putting up highrise buildings in 2026.
So this is a different type of economy here.
It's doing better in certain areas but not all. However it's doing better now than it did when Bo berry Biden was in there.

@Zonuss The question is, are those construction projects the result of the Biden Build Back Better plan?
We knew the moment Biden signed it that it wasn't going to happen overnight and it would be months before seeing it in action.
That would be true even if it had been signed by Trump.
Construction plans take time.
Like I've said before, you'd have to build factories or develope farms to produce, tarrifs alone don't manufacture things. Americans also don't. They're working, but never to make good things.
