I think you’ve lived a sheltered life. Farm women have done a lot of work that would surprise you. My aunt would ride on the hay wagon and buck bales of hay piling them on the wagon.

As a lifelong NH/Mass native, i can confirm these northern New England women not only use farm equipment, but drive snow plows, and other heavy equipment. They have to. Their husbands or whatever are all drunk or they are lesbians
