@Stereoguy We stayed at a B&B Friday and Saturday nights. Had a breakfast to kill for could have not eaten anything else all day the amount of food they had. No wonder we are all getting so obese.

Who do you think did all the heavy lifting during WWII when the men were away...Rosie the Riveter is just the tip of the iceberg

You have been! Women are an integral part of the farm and not just fit house work. Go west and you’ll find them operating every piece of machinery available.
Here we have women operating the 365 ton ore trucks.

@Quimliqer Most of my life has been in the Boston area. I have been as far west as Chicago and did at a museum climb up in the cab of a John Deere tractor that was on display. Sorry to say have not been in the rural areas much. Maybe I need to do that sometime..

More are. I saw a young lady planting corn one day on a big tractor and planter. It was awesome.

As a lifelong NH/Mass native, i can confirm these northern New England women not only use farm equipment, but drive snow plows, and other heavy equipment. They have to. Their husbands or whatever are all drunk or they are lesbians

@Shannon27 what the hell else is there to do in the winter?
😂
Shannon27 · M
@TrashCat Practice making babies, that's way more fun.
TrashCat · M
@Shannon27 why? lol

I think you’ve lived a sheltered life. Farm women have done a lot of work that would surprise you. My aunt would ride on the hay wagon and buck bales of hay piling them on the wagon.

I think you've been living on Planet Misogyny too long 🙄🤡
