I wasn't aware of that, but it does not surprise me.MJ was a truly extraordinary talent - from a very young age - and clearly a lot
more than that.He was troubled, often eccentric - but far from unique in those aspects.

A weird man with some serious problems, but evidently also had a compassionate, caring side to be admired. Makes one wonder, if he hadn't been so rich that everyone around him enabled his questionable decisions what kind of life he might have lived with his talent.

@ChipmunkErnie Agreed. I also wonder how all of their lives might’ve been if Joe Jackson hadn’t been in the picture. He was reportedly pretty awful.

@bijouxbroussard Entertainment parents so often seem to be that way.

I totally get that he had amazing talent and a huge amount of empathy. All good traits. And he liked little boys in a very inappropriate way. There are some bad things that tend to become the focus of a person's character. Harming kids, especially in a sexual way, makes it hard to focus on whatever good he might have also done.

@RosaMarie Trump is a convicted criminal. What has Clinton been convicted of, at this point ? Most folks wouldn’t vote for Clinton if he were running today. But they did vote for Trump, knowing what he was.

@bijouxbroussard Not me. I can only control myself. Clinton, like MJ, used his money and influence to avoid it. I'm expecting, if we ever get true information about the Epstein files, to see both names.

Our current president has been accused by no less than 19 women, at least one who reported being victimized at age13.
excellent example. The so called "christian" nationalists. The christian is just there for decoration.

Lots of celebrities quietly donate their money and time, even the controversial ones like Kevin Spacey, Rosie O'Donnell and Alec Baldwin. I've seen it with my own two eyes.
Aren't we all shades of grey though? We're doing the best we can.

@uncalled4 Very true.

I have a hard time empathizing with someone who hurt children or groomed children.
Following his treatment, he donated the $1.5 million settlement he received from Pepsi to the Brotman Medical Center to establish the Michael Jackson Burn Center for children. There's plenty of social media about his visits to the nursery section.

I understand inappropriate behaviour, but sexual misconduct with kids, weren't there walk backs from some of those that accused him?
Edit: I could be misremembering some stuff. I didn't pay that much attention to the whole thing.

Great stuff minus the pederasty.
bijouxbroussard · F
@Alyosha The accusations, in any case.
