Of course great music

AmericanAvenger · 56-60, M
Did you see them at the Casino in Portsmouth? That is what is left of the Commodores. Back in the 70s, they were one of the supergroups like Earth Wind and Fire, Kool and the Gang, and Parliament. Lionel Richie was in the group. When he left in the 80s, they scored one more hit, Nightshift, but it was not like the Richie days.

Go get their early albums. No one makes music like that anymore.

@AmericanAvenger no I saw them in Florida recently. they sounded the same without Lionel. they have added 2 new guys who i think are family members to carry on. there is one original member left and he is pretty old.

Reason10 · 70-79, M
@akindheart I OWN the facts.
Back in the Seventies, I passed through Tuskegee. Saw an old sign that said "Home Of The Commodores."
