I saw Roy at my small hometown's county fair in 1965. I was 15. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. I got to hang out with him and his band afterwards.

Right on. Big fan. And other musicians REVERED him. Supposedly a really good guy too. He's one of those singers that you know it's him two bars in. A totally unique voice.
