This was also sung as the entrance hymn in The First Church of Springfield years ago. [media=https://youtu.be/qSCUhqsy4Nk?is=CkPimHuTuSP5QXTr]

I must have listened to it no less than 500 times when I was young. Every beat in the drum solo is committed to memory.
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@carpediem And that's how it works. It's meant to be consumed. Every note every beat every transition.
This kind of thing doesn't exist today.

An underrated classic!
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@Nimbus I'm not sure underrated applies to my generation but I think because of the play time it is less known of by following generations and it's also unheard because unlike today's music it's not bumper to bumper lyrics and lost on those who stopped listening to musicians play and focus on whining self pity lyrical songs.

Was that overly judgemental?
Nimbus · M
@Gibbon Yes, you are correct and no, you are not being overly judgemental.
It seems with each generation they lose a bit of 'soul' and the finer things in music passes by.
So much so that we now have AI composing songs and people are buying them 🙄

@Nimbus my problem with this album is it's not the original butterfly. The vocals are weak. And without Ingle's organ the whole sound is lost. It's a different band by the same name.
