James Taylor has the edge for me...

Back in the very early '70s I was lucky enough to have seen them live in concert - I've got to say that the version they performed together was the best!

CK. I've played Tapestry so many times that I've got Carol's songs wired into me. James is a hard one to vote 2nd though.

That's hard to decide. My mom always used to play Carol King when I was a kid, and my dad would play James Taylor. I like both versions, but I would personally go with James Taylor. I love the song and think it's beautiful and sad to me at the same time. This is because in real life, I don't have any friends and I wish I did.

Love Carole, but JT made it his own.
