Yes it's a classic, but in my opinion it's not exactly the Floyd's best work. There's not enough music in it, and the lyrics are whining. Its predecessor, "Animals", is a much better album, in my opinion. But, of course, enjoy the music 🌷
@MissNen Oh I didn't know Dave played bass on "Pigs"! That's when you have no real bassist in the band... 😏 And yes, you are right, Gilmour's guitar solos on "Dogs" are almost other-wordly. I love them. I believe I've listened to "Dog" one hundred times.
