Being a teen in the 70's and 80's I am partial to some of the bands from this era: my all time favourite is RUSH although they are considered more of Progressive Rock. Other groups include: Iron Maiden; Ozzy Osbourne; Deep Purple, AC/DC. Also will say Nickelback, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
