Your eyes look blue? If so, choose orange-based colors (bronze for shimmering, peach for matte) to contrast. I, personally, don't like the color orange a lot but it does make for an amazing accent color with blue (and purple too, but it seems no one but Elizabeth Taylor has lavender eyes). Pinks and purples look better with olive-toned skin and brown eyes.

@faery Thank you x

I think you would look pretty if you did more of a natural look. Use light pinks and light browns

I love pink and a few times i tried to make it work. But it didn't look right. I applied it quite heavy and it was barely noticeable against my skin. But it's such a lovely colour when it works.

@Jennysubmits maybe it's the brand and not the color it's self. Highly suggest play with different brands while you try to figure out what colors work for you. All I use is Jefree star cosmetics because the pigmentation in pinks ,neons and yellows are amazing

That's a good point, i will look into that brand, thank you so much x
What colour are your eyes? Research the contrasting colour to use. Mine are brown, so green and gold make my eyes stand out. Also look if its a powder or cream finish you need - depending on your skin. Eyeliner is classic.

@0uijaFinger thank you, they are blue/grey. So i should use orange shadow?
@Jennysubmits rust, rose gold etc..
