how do u know he doesn't feel the same .......maybe he does but he doesn't know how to tell you ?

How do you deal with it? At one point I was with my cousin secretly we had been together since we were 7 till I turned 18 I knew it was wrong but I loved him. I didn’t want us to have to hide and it was weighing on my mind for a long time so I told him. When we where young we had plans together at first I really wanted them to work out but I thought it was best if we stopped I broke it off cause it hurt so much not getting to express it openly. We both decided to get other partners part of me still loves him we still talk but we try not to ask anything that could lead somewhere. It hurts but isn’t, not doing these things supposed to be the right way?
