Thanks for your comments. I would happily hug a total stranger if they asked for one but i would never make anyone feel uncomfortable. As an example in my Church I've been introduced to many friends of Church members or work colleagues as the guy that gives the best hugs. Sometimes they will just open their arms and we will hug each other.
