Now does your prose words need to be put into how you are Herculean? Sometimes just loving is Herculean, sometimes it's not, sometimes moving for someone is and another time it will follow suit it also is not... There are truer words to be found without the drama in your words, as you are fighting like a 20 year old child thinking it's romantic while it's not.

But hey those are just my thoughts, been in love before, I know how it's once the part that opens every door within your heart while closing your heart within the same breath sometimes. So bare your chest to their knife when maybe they just wanted you.

@SW-User Context, here, is everything.
If one reads this submission as verse, rather than prose, then the 'drama' of the selected phrases makes more sense. Indeed, these verses are not about fighting but about how how much she impressed me by being strong and resilient despite having suffered at the unkind hands of others.

The lede in the paragraph mentioning 'Herculean task' asks what wouldn't I do to win your (her) heart? Meaning that no task is too great to prove my commitment to her. A Herculean task, of course, referring to the labors of Hercules - a near impossible task designed to test Hercules beyond his perceived limits.

And, when I would (figuratively) bare my chest to to, in order to let her strike back at the world, in anger, her choice to not strike is another example of her many virtues - She " ... never learned the need to strike out at others to lessen your (her) own suffering."

In other words, this verse is about how someone who was mistreated and disrespected and was the victim of abuse and neglect was (is) still a precious rarity. While many people arise from situations similar to hers as broken and mean spirited and very much like those who committed the abuses on her, she came through it all intact. Her grace, poise, resolve, and humility are what attracted me to her.

I hope this makes my submission a little clearer for you and the rest of this esteemed audience.

Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to explain.
