The only time I did was my first haircut and that's because I remeber thinking the shampoo bowl was a guillotine.

Growing up my dad took it upon himself to cut my hair since he couldn’t afford an actual hairdresser for me. My sophomore year of high school he cut it super short. Like, pixie short, and I tried to deal with it the best I could but tears did come…especially when my crush made fun of it.

yes i asked for a bob to my shoulders. the hairdresser cut off all of my hair. i couldn't even put rollers in it. i found out that it was a personal attack on purpose...too long to explain.

Never while. When I stopped using chemicals I had a friend (who worked at Supercuts) cut my hair to about an inch all over.
That night woke up having forgotten I did it, I touched my head—and then cried. But it grew back really fast.
