The good thing about cashless is I can trace my money if there are stolen which cash can't.
My stashes are safe better than physical in case of natural disaster, stolen, robbered, etc.

I am not afraid my cash is being tracked unless someone who has malicious intent. Criminals love cash because no one can trace them.

About homeless, maybe I just gonna give them food or some goods for them which is better than giving them money because those homeless could use those money to buy drugs or booze instead of essential things.
@iamelijah Do you like paying for everything monthly and never owning anything?
iamelijah · 26-30, M
@SomeMichGuy High cost living giving me no choice to own but barely to survive.

There will be cash but it will be watermarked to track illegal activities such as drug trafficking and human trafficking. If a person deposits a lot of it then it can be tracked.
Northerner · 70-79, M
@cherokeepatti its already like that here in the UK. If you want to pay in or take out money from your account they ask you all kinds of personal question before they allow you to go ahead. 😡
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Northerner I have read with they system that is going in effect in the USA there will be more financial privacy.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@cherokeepatti Every copy machine has a hidden feature that tells if you copy money.

I refuse to use shops that don't accept cash.
Northerner · 70-79, M
[@Fluffybull Same here.

I went into a store a few weeks ago, I went to pay, the operator looked at me, I had a tenner in my had to pay. WE DON'T TAKE CASH SIR. I apologized to the folks waiting, then I left the goods on the belt and walked out.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
Interesting. Something would probably evolve to replace it.
Northerner · 70-79, M
@Tastyfrzz Yes probably go back to bartering like they did before money was invented.Everything else is going backwards.🤣

… heading. We will transition there. But I also believe there won’t be homeless or they will have traced donation accounts
The Government here is heavily involved in gambling. Billions in cash just from VLT machines in bars. Then there's the Casinos. I guess all the machines can be adapted to take credit, debit cards.
Instead of making the rich pay their fair share the Government will track every cent in the general population. No more cash deals.

It doesn't matter, we'll all be cyborgs soon anyway.

I can't wait.

@Northerner Haven't you played CyberPunk?

It'll be awesome.
PTCdresser57 · 61-69, M
I haven't really carried cash for the last 15 years. If I have $10 in cash on me...that is alot.
Good. It's not like cash worked anyway. Fuck capitalism.

Penny · 46-50, F
Why do you think that?
Penny · 46-50, F
@Northerner that would be so awful. i doubt that will happen. I dont think people will stand for it anymore than massive gun control. eta (in the US at least)
Northerner · 70-79, M
@Penny We all need to rebel against things like this
Penny · 46-50, F
@Northerner i totally agree.
That’s one of the reasons why some people didn’t use banks but kept cash in mattresses. If you use a bank or credit union and make atm withdrawals, you were being tracked then. Brave new world.

You're like, 40 years too late on this one
