The same happens to me ... but vice versa.

When I was very young, children could go to elementary school once they learned to read, without going to kindergarten. I learned at the age of 3. So at 14 I had finished high school and had to choose a professional career.

My brother is a doctor ... so I went to medicine. Today, at 18 I am in my medical internship. 6 months before finishing the degree in medicine (plus social service)

All my colleagues are older than me, all my patients the first thing they ask is my age and some say "send the real doctor"

I would like to be thinking about my graduation gown, going out to some parties, with a boy or going with my friends to the movies and asking who is the most handsome boy in school.

But I'm trying to understand how a mother can neglect her 10-year-old son with diabetes so much that a wound becomes infected so much that we have to admit him on the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit because of a septic shock ... or thinking that if I had reached my shift a second earlier to be able to do CPR on the patient last week ... he would still be here.

Be proud of how far you've come. You're a survivor. That's hard to teach yourself how to do...You are right where you need to be.

Three is still hope in your future too. Your past and all your experiences have shaped you into the person you are today, It doesn't have to define your future too. You've come a very long way. Acknowledge it and be happy. Comparing yourself to others only makes you feel less than you are.

Every thing happens for a reason. You may not know it now, but you are given your circumstances for a reason. Bless you.
