I just think that ANYONE who enters into the United States whether legally or illegally, must abide by the laws of that land, not come and demand money, and for rules and laws to be overlooked on their behalf. It irks me that nowadays anyone who does not agree something is immediately labeled as "phobic".
@Pherick: I certainly do not blame all Muslims for anything though I do understand how this can happen socially in today's world. It's no different than so many living in the middle east who see all Americans as infidels.

By entering a country illegally, one is not abiding by that country's laws.
@Carissimi: I couldn't agree more! I was speaking of those who are here already illegally who think they have the same rights as citizens.

I think one of the biggest issues now is that no one wants to look at the actions of people. Everyone (using this generally of course) is more concerned with feelings and not actions. Feelings are personal, and when acted upon affect not ourselves but everyone around us.

This applies to any group. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks about Islam. They are allowed have any kind of thought about it, and their thoughts are based on their perceptive knowledge. If you have a group committing mass killings and the dehumanizing of women and abuse of children then your thoughts are going to be that these are not good people.

This doesn't mean hatred towards all of them, but those who are using ACTION to commit atrocities. These atrocities are happening in multiple countries and in multiple ways. There is no denying it. People fear it and rightly so, as they should ANY group committing these acts.

But when you have a society that is brainwashed into thinking everyone must think a like and that one's emotions/thoughts are the business of everyone else you end up with pointed fingers and accusations of racism and "phobias." Ignore the actions, and overreact on thoughts.

Okay ramble over...hope it applied enough to your post lol.

Not a ramble but a very rational reply.

Just as a matter of language, "Islamaphobic" is a very misleading word, and the charge of being islamaphobic is usually unjustified. It means, of course, afraid of Islam. I'm not afraid of Islam. I am, however, opposed to it, in the sense that I don't want Islam to have influence, or too much influence, in judaochristian societies such as the UK.
fredmohar · 36-40, M
I'm afraid of Islam as I'm afraid of Nazism, Communism and any other totalitarian ideology that wants to invade my private life and restrict my freedom. It has nothing to do with racism or religion, I don't care if they pray 5 or 15 times a day.

Very well described. The word "islamophobia" is indeed a cheap shot, contrived by the Muslim brotherhood! And who would not be afraid of islam? Not phobic but rationally afraid! And what this ideology entails when its followers abuse sharia law to a ridiculous and terrible extent? Sharia law allows psychopaths to kill indiscriminately while hiding behind their "religion" and claiming they follow the example of their so called "prophet" mohammed. They use "sharia law" to fulfill their own agenda. It has to be the most abused "law" ever devised by men.

Muslim Brotherhood is a banned organization in almost all the Muslim countries expect in Europe. Get funding from Europe along with a headquarter. Why?
SW-User
@Pherick: Isn't Austria in Europe? Belgium, Germany and UK are the other three major countries from where these suspicious organization being operated. They can't do that in middle east, Turkey, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia and Pakistan. Doesn't that raise questions when Taliban and Al Qaida is being hunted. The MB is given space, only in Europe where as MB is declared as banned organization in most Muslim countries for years. Kick them out from there too.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@Vitality: Yes Austria is in Europe, but when you say "Europe" did things, who are you talking about? Europe is a continent, not a government. So are you saying Austria gave the MB a HQ and funding? Thats not "Europe" giving those things.

We have plenty of groups that are called terrorist groups here in the US. The Southern Poverty Law Center has identified lots of groups that have terrorist tendencies that operate here in the US. Is the US giving them a HQ and funding?

I am not saying the MB should be allowed to operate, there is an argument to say they should be shut down. However don't say they are being given things by "Europe" when they are not.

@Pherick: No body like being point at them but love to point others. 👍
Pherick · 41-45, M
This sounds like someone trying to justify their Islamophobia. Good try though.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@Carissimi: Thats because you say things like this,
However, that does not take from the general injustice I see from western governments giving priority to Muslims over their own indigenous citizens.
Which is obviously not true.

You also say things like this ..
It's a word like all the other "phobic" words to throw out at those who don't share the same view or narrative of the Left. It's used by people who have no valid argument, and have no reasoning ability to look deeply at facts and chronological evidence.
When taken all together it sounds like the narrative of someone who is prejudice against Muslims or whatever group they are railing against and wants everyone to think they are not.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@Carissimi: If I am wrong, then I am sorry, I am certainly willing to discuss the problems of terrorism and immigration, there are certainly things that need to be talked about.

Its just hard to discuss them when I feel like I am dealing with someone who is already trying to defend themselves.
Winterwanderer · 26-30, M
If someone is being defensive, why attack them with sarcasm? That's just hurtful and illogical.
