Wow, that is so wrong.
A Hero will sacrifice themselves to save you, they would sacrifice themselves to save the world too.
A villain will sacrifice the world for his own personal gain. He won't care about you at all.

@PoohSmasher alright maybe in your comics. But this is also an explored concept…which also creates questions of what is a hero or a villain. A hero saves people sure. But what about the constant choices he has to make to of who lives and who dies? What about his need to do the things for the greater good; regardless of the sacrifice?
Where as a villain who might care about someone is considered a villain to others but really he’s just doing what he can to protect the ones they love even if it makes him hated.
Open your eyes a bit.

@londonbr1dg3 A hero is reactive, the choice follows what he can achieve. Obviously he can't save everyone, but the ones he saves he is their hero.
A villain doesn't care what people think, he just does whatever he wants and will continue to do those things until someone stops him. The person that does that is called a Hero.

@PoohSmasher again look past your comics. This is again; an exploited concept.
A villain will absolutely destroy a town or village or world even for their love. (It’s literally also done in comics) think of when their loved ones died and they win on a rage. A villain will absolutely kill anyone in their way to save the one they love.
Or in a real life sense: a person can be a villain in the eyes of people doing wrong. Because being brought to justice breaks that false life. Basically being brought to justice can end their money earnings or whatever and so that good moral person is a “villain”
Where as a hero; will always do what’s morally right. Or what is right for the greater good. So if it means saving 100k people vs you. It’s gonna be the 100k cause he has to save the world. Not you. He’s a hero…his duty is to the world and the citizens. And saving one person over many is not what hero’s do.

@jshm2 think past your comics…
This is more as what people view a hero or a villain. Someone who will cut ties, break friendships, bring people to justice can be seen as a villain in the eyes of the people because standing for what’s right actually destroys their reality.
But a hero will do what’s morally right or play by the book even if it means making other suffer longer or unnecessary cause things have to be done by the book to do the right thing…

I feel like misunderstanding what a hero should be applies to so many situations socially. 😅
