Wasn't that way for me w my sons. A lot depends on personalities, interests and family dynamics though. Lucky that ours happen to mesh fairly well.

I don't play favourites and I don't like parents who do.

@GunFinger Yeah I had that experience as a child and agree. Part of the reason I stopped at one.
