Thank you so much I am from Saudi Arabia , from the east. There is a lot of misconceptions about us Such as we are all the same When Saudis are very diverse I’m sure you’ll notice it if you ever travel to west east north south etc but it seems you only went to Medina / Mecca.
Another misconception are that Saudis are rich When in reality we aren’t They think most Saudis have Lamborghini and what not idk who lied to them Most Saudis are middle class driving Toyotas and hundai etc 😂 Biggest misconception is that Saudis are violent or scary When we have very low crime index compared to the countries of those who have such impression of us.
We have our shortcomings as a country But I do believe we also have our pros.

oh yeah, i have noticed all of that. I was very surprised at all the misconceptions. One thing i did notice was that there was so many american food chains.
Do you have all those american food chains at every corner in your area? I was a bit disapointed because i wanted to try some authentic Saudi food but couldnt find any.
