That's definitely true. That doesn't mean revenge should be dismissed though..
@GoToTheCompound no I'm not thinking about revenge in the wrong way. I described it quite aptly. But you're right there are many ways that people can take revenge, but that doesn't make it right. One can simply ignore those who are negative or try to hurt us, is all I'm saying. That's not really taking revenge. It's respecting yourself enough to not hang around with toxic people.
@LadyGrace Those that hurt others should not necessarily be able to walk away unscathed because they will 100% end up hurting somebody else. As long as you are righteous, don't be afraid to take matters into your own hands. Toxic people deserve to be put down for the sake of everyone around them
@GoToTheCompound

We shouldn't worry about others. When they hurt us, we can walk away and we don't have to hate on them or want to hurt them back as well. Two wrongs don't make a right. If you hurt someone, I don't care how little it is, it will come back on you, as well. The right thing to do is just to walk away and never have contact with them again and forget them. When we carry hate in our heart, that hurts us more than the other person. It's like cancer to carry hate around or ill feelings towards someone else. They have no idea that you're hurting sometimes, so you just end up hurting yourself. Revenge is never the way. I don't care who you are. We need to treat people like we want to be treated and if they don't treat us the way we think they should treat us, then we simply walk away from the beginning if you can see they are toxic. Don't let it even get to the point where they can hurt you over and over and over. Judge no one. Just improve yourself.

so poignant and true! “In the process of letting go, you will lose many things, but you will find yourself. ”
Some things that actually break our hearts fix our vision. A good friend of mine told me this recently. I think he is right. 2020 has been a year of loss. Grief. Trauma. Broken hearts. But what have we learned from this in life? can an experience help fix our vision?

The things that break your heart often bring you closer to yourself in strange ways. They make you reflect on what you want and what your boundaries are. They give you answers about yourself and others. They give you guidelines for the future. There’s always something rewarding after every loss. Sometimes you find yourself, sometimes you find someone better and sometimes you find God. In all cases, you win.
@LadyGrace Thanks! and your brave, and have a gift to help others! Go, eat, coz no one can pour from an empty cup... God bless you
@WhisperinAngelic101 Thank you sweet lady. You are such a blessing to me.
@WhisperinAngelic101 I think it's not so much what happens to us, but how we choose to react to it. I believe it's what we do with what we have left, to the glory of God. All you have said is true and when we know better we do better. Life is a process of learning and hopefully loving and helping others.
