One time when I was 22 my dad practically dragged me over to help push this girls car into a nearby gas station and then he kept gesturing for me to start a conversation with her, 🤦‍♂️so embarrassing.

@DesolateDarkWorlds My mom tried that when we went to the grocery store once. Saw a guy and walked over to him to ask him about dating me presumably. I kept walking.
Her: you're not even trying.

I"m not gonna walk up to random guys in the grocery store. What am I supposed to do, ask THEM out? Um no

First of all. My parents would never let me date a relative.

Second of all. It's not in our culture to have parents in our dating businesses. Here we just take home a guy or girl and next week we can take home a new other guy or girl. And so it continues.

There will be no questions about the relationship or marriage talk or anything about commitment. A strict parent here might ask about their career plans or what soccer team they're supporting but that's about it.

@Queendragonfly First of all, it says "friend date"
Second of all, the post isn't about dating at all🤦🏾‍♀️

That's kind of odd and awkward. You just have to shrug that kind of thing off. Family can be very insensitive that way sometimes.
Doesn't sound Fit for ADULTS!

Once when i joined the gym she organised for a weird man she knew to accompany me as she said it wasn't the place for a woman. I had to be quite rude to him to get rid of him.
