I understand you miss him but maybe in this period you both are away he will get a bit better I’m not asking you to hope but just try and live around him and address the issues you gained, any traumas etc yk. but that doesn’t mean if he does come and say let’s be friends again you run back you gotta really consider and if you do become friends fugue out when to back off a bit yk. It’s a beautiful thing that you want to make him happy it sounds like you’re an excellent friend however the problems he has only he can solve
