There are some old Celtic myths that mirrors that. I can’t remember where I read it but the old story goes that once the Sun and the moon were lovers. But the Sun god fell in love with Earth who would honour him with flowers in the meadow and fruits on the trees. And so the Sun god abandoned the moon Goddess, leaving her to wander alone in cold darkness forever. But she has the power chase and sometimes eclipse him, and move on the oceans on the Earth.
Meanwhile 5 year old me dissapointed that the sun isn't the moon.
I was obsessed with the sun and the moon. I always said "Good morning sun" and I sat in my window and vented for hours about my thoughts feelings and the day to the moon. And then always ended my night with saying "Goodnight moon"
@Morrigan Exactly. It’s life's way of leading us to other places and people; both of which we need to learn from. It just takes a little while to see it sometimes, so when things go wrong, I now wait patiently for the reveal, but without expectation.🪻
