Happiness comes from within ..it's a mindset ...but it doesn't hurt to have people in your life that are good for you ..to inspire you in good ways is always a good thing

I think it's impossible for me to be happy knowing people I love are in pain or unhappy. However, I never strive for happiness in life. Being content is more important to me.
