I don’t patronize establishments that fail to meet my standards . As far as romance , I did without until my hubby came along , and now I try to make sure I don’t fall below his standards 😊.

I could probably tone down the not settling for less a bit because I can be overly stubborn about things and I feel like restaurants don't like me 😂

I quit my job because I was ashamed of working at such place. I was losing my self-respect for how we employees were treated there. I didn't complain as a newcomer first but when I saw that even women working for 8 years were treated the same I just saw no perspective. I don't even want to know what was happening there during the pandemic.

Will ask to remake it. Often I get a free meal without asking or at least a discount.

Only if it still is not made right afterwards will I decline it.

I don't consider it settling for less. Nothing is "precisely" as you might want. Same goes for dates. No one is perfect either.

I have high standards in my relationships. I will not tolerate disrespect of any kind. I'm a good friend but I will not be a doormat.
