@Mrsbetweenfatandfit Sorry you lost her. Thats a legitimate concern if your birth mother died from it. Genetic testing is something you can have done before you try for a child if you want to be sure.

@AnonymouslyYours Yeah :( But try to remember, you're aware of what was wrong in that relationship and you and your partner could work on it, whether by yourselves or couples therapy :)
