If they are interesting i chat but I don't invest much in them. If they are not interesting I don't bother to contribute much in it and they lose interest completely.

If I enjoyed the time they gave me to chat I'd definitely keep them for those times.

I don't block such people. I just ignore them completely too (in PMs).

In threads I am always ready to chat if someone wants to chat. :-)

Give them the benefit of the doubt.

I wouldn’t block them. It’s entirely possible they’re busy. I’d just see them when I see them. Perhaps not count on them so much.
