This is a philosophical musing to me.
Why do we enjoy a green traffic light? Because of it's color? Because of it's position in the fixture?
Or because we've been stuck at many red ones before?
I say the latter. Extrapolated means any "good" moments we have are precisely *because* of the bad moments - they co-exist as necessary points of comparison which makes the "bad" moments, perhaps counter-intuitively, "good".
