I did. I moved from Indiana to Australia 15 years ago. A month to the day my dad had a heart attack and I couldn't leave due to immigration. He lived and I saw him 9 months later....he passed a few months after that. My mom got sick and passed 4 years later. 馃様@PlumBerries

I moved 636 miles from home. I miss family, the beauty of the white sand dunes on the beach. Friends I grew up with. But I love living in the countryside and the slower pace.

Initially when I moved away from Toronto over 16 yrs ago, it was a little hard, but I adjusted. As long as I get to visit for a few weeks every summer, I'm good.
