@YesNoMaybeSo Thank you for your comment. I agree with you. There's good in human beings regardless of which faith/religion they belong to. We don't become good automatically just by accepting a religion, but by striving to better ourselves. However, the message of Islam is not exclusively for Muslims, but for mankind as a whole. There are morals installed in people naturally, and Islam confirm and encourage them.
I find my inspiration in my religion. It teaches me how to be a better human being, and this is how I, personally, improve myself.

with permission: without putting religion into it
don't we all strive to do better?
work for a living , because earning our daily bread makes us feel like we're contributing to society and worthy of our place
it does not take religion to be a fine human being /does it?
I hope you don't read negative things into this post I sometimes say things and come across as being catty

Hi Madeleine 😊
Respect for your message!
I believe that God created our human lives for many reasons. Among them is the very important issue of loving ourselves as humans and loving being human. Loving the human experience. Loving having the ability to touch, to smell, to see, to hear, to make music, or drive a car fast (or slow, if that's your preference). To laugh, to enjoy earthly things.
The divine energies who interact with me daily, regularly remind me that an important part of our soul's growth here on earth is learning to embrace these things in love, and enjoy life.
By doing so, we put out a joyful vibration that is infectious and soon others are feeling joy.
As i said, I respect your message. I just believe a broader perspective which is, God wants us to experience the great joy of being human.
Peace and soft breezes to you, dear friend!

@Greenwind Respectfully, how can a religion murder people, isn't that people who commit murders against each other? How many scholar governments have initiated unjust wars against innocent civilians.

Not true mmm what about those that put their very lives on the line to protect Marcus Latrell (Pashtunwatti) you should study the Bedouin code of ethics

Yes it is from the Philippines to America and instead of seeing it for what it is ....it gets a group label

@ReaperofTime I agree with you, but let's avoid generalization. Some Muslim scholars have set good example and inspiration.

@mmmmgirl123 I know that you mean good, but if this is your perception of Islam, then you didn't read the Quran.

Something I like about Islam is the rejection of wealth that is based on pure financial speculation.

True Islam is actually one of the most tolerant religions on earth ..but just like every organized faith power hungry men have seized control
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@ReaperofTime Unfortunately, this situation is happening everywhere.

And the message of true Christianity Buddhism and my faith (Native American Beliefs) are the same as well Be the best person you can be ... There is good no matter where you look just avoid those with snaked tongues

In Iraq a good number of people just want to live free and be left alone its only a certain group that preaches hate
ReaperofTime · 46-50, M
Nothing wrong with the faith itself it is the Clerics that have twisted it into something vile and ugly
