@SlytherinGuy Maybe you want to look at it from the opposite angle, even though you do not bow down to God, you are still blessed by God with countless blessings, it's simply because you need God, and that's why we worship God. God doesn't need us, we need Him. And He is worshiped because He is worthy of being worshiped. Being a good person is a good thing, but denying and being ungrateful to your ultimate Sustainer is not a quality of a good person. Especially that you do not have full control over your life, you know for a fact there's much more to it than yourself.

@Madeleine don't y'all holy texts condemn the non believers tho? Lol how am I blessed if I'm frowned upon by the same god? What I am and what I ever will be will be bc of my own self and I do not need someone to bless me when I'm worshiping them and curse me when I'm not lol besides, people don't need god, people just need something to keep their faith in, god is a hypothetical concept that helps people keep patience and hope for good and As time passes it's the same people who change their lives to a better life not god. Besides, it is god who needs us to worship him from the same holy books y'all swear upon. Why would one ask us to worship them when he doesn't need us to? God is just hope and goodwill nothing more. Those who understand that, make their lives succesful bc they now believe in themselves and not some hypothetical concept that has no base to it.
