Sponsorships are a different thing, even if they are not commercials outright. There's really no way around sponsorships. That's up to the poster of the video.
Just don't log in. Browser privacy modes are perfect for that.

If it's longer than the evolved standard of 3 minutes - its not an advertisement any more, its certified video.
Youtube is getting very audacious and rude about its ads.
Ive complained about people using filters to advetise how good a skin product is.
- its false advertising.
