I used to like fountain pens but then all changed to ball. I still do miss them. Just because ball pens are faster to write but they can never match the smoothness and class of a fountain pen. When I think of a fountain pen, I also think of how early people 2000 years ago, scribed the whole documents for us to read. What a great effort for great encrypted messages. From there, it all smoothened to a Fountain pen.

I use fountain pens for calligraphy. Just a basic holder with some different speedball nibs. I have several different ink colors but I purchased a navy-blue Indian Ink a while back and it's so pretty. I love the depth that the color creates with different pressure from the calligraphy strokes.
