That's wonderful!! I rarely am inspired by athletes, but in the film world Jonas Mekas is my inspiration, he was a kind and gentle guy who was also a part of the exciting 60s counter-culture times. Later on in life, he'd make down to earth films where he's just sitting at a table with friends, laughing and having good times, just a laid back fella who could insert little anecdotes about some of my favorite literary figures.
