@littlepuppywantanewlife I used different types of wood, mostly maple for the cabinets and shelving with some poplar for the face frame. All Walnut I stain. Some of that furniture was a rebuild and was pine.
Most cabinetry and custom furniture requested most is painted because that want to pick out a color.
