Christmas can be wonderful if...

1. You have a great family you mostly or totally get along with.

2. You have a bit of extra money to buy gifts.

3. You have many happy Christmas memories to resonate with.

So, for me, I am a Christian, and I am happy about the birth of Jesus...but other than the "birthday boy" I don't like Christmas at all. Too many sad memories of unhappy family situations, not much money in my life either. I make the best of it, but this is a tough season for me. I spend a lot of time praying the memories away.
