All depend on the book you're reading, When the plot is fascinating, and it can catch you, you just cannot stop to read because the reader want to know how it will end everything.

Sometimes, read a book, It's an activity that take me months to finish instead of days, but It's not a failure from you, just the book isn't interesting enough.

Have a nice day.

I will catch up on all my house chores to spend an entire day reading. Can knock a good book out in a day or weekend sometimes.

If I am really into it I devour it. I've been known to skip sleep before I was so into reading

Proper time management... Ignore everything else!

Reading at a leisurely pace of about a chapter every 45 minutes to an hour it takes somewhere around 10 hours to read a 12 chapter 50,000 word book.

People that don't like reading are so because nobody ever taught them how to correctly absorb the information for the full immersion into the work.

I can race through a good book.
Always take your time and don't measure. The enjoyment of reading a book is supposed to be at your desire.
I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy in three days, long ago...
