Yes you will feel fatigued after a seizure. I have not had them but i have had children and friends who have. One friend said the onset is what he called the aura. My understanding is that a seizure is the result of overactivity on the brain with multiple synapses firing but not in any particular path or pattern resulting in the aura. Then, I鈥檓 an effort to protect itself, the brain pops like a circuit breaker to prevent additional damage. This may result in passing out, convulsions, etc. after the seizure has passed, the body is tired because the brain is overworked, similar to dealing with long periods of stress, it has happened in a relatively short period of time. Additionally, muscles are completely flexed which results in physical fatigue.

I would look online for medical descriptions because this is a layman鈥檚 understanding based on talking to others and watching my son have several.

Let me know if this helps at all just so I know whether to keep my mouth shut in the future if someone asks 馃槀

@Peaceful thanks

Sounds like this most recent one was a petit mal seizure. I have had both, mine was medication related as the cause though.
Let's talk more in PM, ok?

@Peaceful For sure, my friend.

The exact same thing happens to my wife. She has partial complex seizures since June 2017.

@SW-User That's actually rather helpful, thank you.

So sorry you suffer from this.

I hope they diagnose it properly and a remedy is found.
Hope you find an answer, soon.

@lovelywarpedlemon Thank you, I should. I've got an appointment with the Neuro doc in about a week and a half. Hopefully it will be an enlightening one.
@UndeadPrivateer Stay safe, 'til then.
