While I have no first hand expierence in the health care field my brother works as pediatric hospice nurse, and has said the same thing. He also says there should also be a review in criteria on who qualifies for hospice, as he said there have been cases where were he felt the doctors should have given a child a chance to live, but understands they have protocol that has to be followed.
