What is complete happiness? Is that to mean no upsets or anything negative whatsoever?
I don't believe that is attainable for anyone.
A mindset and a heartset... that is what makes me a bit happier than some. :)
I don't have the perfect life or no worries, but I have many blessings and I choose to see those rather than what may not be right.
What is right in your world today?
How we see things, how we choose to see things and how we choose to deal with things can make a huge difference.

@SW-User I think that's the point to the question, the ability to see it as open ended, that it's ok to NOT know sometimes. the answer can be in the journey
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
There is no complete happiness. Lol

@ravenwind43 that is the best description of it I have ever heard. This should be best comment.
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
@ClassicRocker Thanks. I find here being to wordy is a waste of time for most so tried to condense it lol.

@ravenwind43 I get it, totally. I agree that it isn't a destination, everyone experiences happiness in different ways. Or has an idea of happiness that differs from others. Thank you for your honesty, lots of truth to what you said

the fact that complete happiness is only a concept. most of us spend the majority of our lives in a neutral state with intervals of happiness and sadness. we try to escape the bad times and always have only good times. the trick is to enjoy the sweet spot between
HenJoe · 46-50, M
@SW-User good one, in between or at least try to spend more on the happy interval side of the spectrum
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
@SW-User I like that, esp the last part.

Complete happiness is an unrealistic goal and unattainable. Contentment is what we should be aiming for, with many moments of happiness.

nothing. I've got a loving husband, 2 great kids, food on the table and a little extra to do some shopping.
HenJoe · 46-50, M
@saragoodtimes love it! woot woot!

The thoughts I tell myself.
My mortality :)
I am pragmatist/realist, not in a fantasy world, which is what your question is insinuating.

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON I can see why you would say that; it's an open ended question. i get it though
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Nothing. I’m usually always happy. I have temporary moments of being mad or sad.
HenJoe · 46-50, M
@Keepitsimple keeping it simple i see? that's great! just breathing and living, life just figures itself out

HenJoe · 46-50, M
no nightmares here sir. hope you find the strength to make the changes you need or want to, if thats what you want. you got my support either way!
thepreposterouspanda · 36-40, M
@HenJoe Phew, I wish I could change it haha. Brain lesions are fairly permanent, unfortunately. 😅
My reality just stepped off the beaten path a long time ago and I'm not really sure what to do with it now. :)

The fact that our moments with our loved ones are limited and short-lived. With each passing second we have less & less time to spend with them, until one of us leave this world.

I'm not sure I will ever reach the pinnacle of happiness.
HenJoe · 46-50, M
@Dewkissedrose coming close to it might be a good start

Loves ones being envious of me. It's always the ones closest to you that hurt you the most
